If you can draw a circle, you can spark a change!
It’s all about using art to turn tiny actions into mighty impacts.
Imagine circles of friends and families joining together to paint hope on hearts through simple “arts of kindness” and encouraging notes. Even if you don’t feel creative or artistic, forming circles of people to create little pieces of art to write notes of kindness on makes you a vital part of this movement! You can hop into the circle of hope and spread joy by using these free artist-made printables to create simple heart-warming “arts of kindness”! Click here. Let’s spread "arts of kindness" in our favorite spots, reminding everyone their life matters. It’s about splashing love onto the canvas of our world and creating
truth-filled notes in a time that yearns for light.
So, get ready—little circles can set off a ripple effect of HOPE!
Imagine this: if every person who joins our movement invites just one friend and they invite one, who invites someone and this continues, and all write 1 note of encouragement a week for 30 days, we can create an avalanche of kindness!
In only 30 weeks, we’re talking a staggering 536,870,912 notes of kindness spread throughout our community!
That’s right—one simple invite can spark a kindness revolution and set off a chain reaction
that will spread like a wildfire of hope!
If people commit to continue to leaving one note of kindness somewhere each week, as a part of their weekly rhythm, BILLIONS of lives can be touched!
Even if some of the friends or family members are in other cities, you’re creating a circle!
You can all write your notes each week while inviting others to form their own circles of friends.
Be the spark that triggers a domino effect of encouragement that will illuminate our world through words that stir hope in hearts. Each life that joins this challenge can be the flame that ignites change. Who’s ready to make a difference?
Now, more than ever acts of kindness and HOPE are needed. To get more ideas for Circles Of Hope, click here.
And here is a blog I wrote about the happy face project that my son and I did for the happy faces (above).

And look at the chart below, from the book “One Grain Of Rice”, to see that it REALLY IS POSSIBLE to touch 536,870,912 lives in 30 weeks!!!!! The numbers are even larger if you keep inviting people,
who then invite others…...

What is the story behind Circles of Hope Project?
It is a blending of a few different things. I love to create things to bless and encourage others.
In 2020, I came across an article about a Starbucks manager in California who was saddened by the 4 kids in a 2 week period who had taken their own lives. She knew she wanted to do something to let others know that their life matters! "Her idea was simple: a mailbox, Post-it notes and pens.
She placed a mailbox on the pick-up counter at her Starbucks location where people could take an affirmation of hope and encouragement. In turn, the person would write an affirmation for someone else to take.” Click here to see the article.
So, I sat down to create a super simple project to bring hope to others. I like circles and I knew that a circle left randomly somewhere catches your eye more than a rectangle or square because it is not as commonly mass produced. For the little kids in our lives, I wanted to find an easy way for them to join in the fun of blessing others. Everyone has circles. Jars, cups, plates, lids and the list goes on. Families can do this together.
Circles can be simple. Or you can layer different art supplies and they can become more elaborate. You can cut circles out of pretty scrapbook papers or a tossed aside art project. Just trace, cut and write a message! Every age and skill level can join in the fun of creating "hope circles" as you create “Circles of Hope” where people join together for the common purpose of speading “kindness like confetti”!
