God Promises To Never Leave You

(This is another art project with scriptures and free printable to go with the project)

No one will ever love you like God!

A ring is a symbol of promise. A diamond ring symbolizes unfailing love. It represents a promise of faithfulness and unconditional love. God is our forever love. He is the most perfect and unconditional love we will ever know. And His love continues into the rest of eternity when we make a promise of faithfulness to him as well.

Hebrews 13:5

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."

Psalm 117:2

"For great is his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever."

Zephaniah 3:17

“For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” (new Living Translation)

“The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” (New International Version)

Lamentations 3:22-23

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

We can have a bad day or sin. But God’s mercies are new each day. He offers forgiveness when we confess our sins and say we are sorry while seeking to turn away from our sins.

Proverbs 8:17

“I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.”

With promising faithfulness and love to another comes seeking to know that person more. One way to know God more is to read the Bible and memorize scripture.

God loves all people. But He has deep affection for those who love him back. What are some ways we can show our love to God? Have you ever thought of making a card for God. He sees all things even if we can’t see him.

He has sprinkled lovenotes throughout creation to express His love to us.

(It was such a sweet gift from God that right as the kiddos arrived I had two butterflies emerge from their chrysalis'. And after our class we were able to bless a special neighbor with one of our delicious whip cream icing cupcakes.}

Psalms 136:26

“Give thanks to the Lord, for His love endures forever.”

God's love is sweet! He is our sweetest love. Talk about the gift of love God gave us in giving us tastebuds and sweet treats! What are your favorite treats?

John 15: 9-17

"As the Father has loved me, so I have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in His love." When we have arguments with those we love or we don't listen to what they ask of us, it can cause a sense of distance and feeling of being loved less than we desire. With God it is the same. When we don't obey or listen to God's commandments there is sort of a distance created.

He doesn't love us less, but by making choices that don't align to God's words, it's like we are stepping away from Him. When we do our best to follow His loving commands, we can rest in His love and our lives are filled with more peace and hope.

1 John 5:14

"And we are confident that He hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him."

What are things we can ask for that please God?

"Romans 8:37-39

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Psalm 86:15

"But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness."

John 10:10

"I came that you many have life and have it abundantly."

1 Peter 5:7

"Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you."
