My son never wants to take our Christmas tree or decorations down. We have a morning ritual where we plug in the tree and say together, "Jesus is the light of the world!" It's a seasonal rhythm that we both love. So, since I had decided to celebrate Jesus as our Eternal Valentine, I went with his request to leave the tree up and have now made a Valentine's tree using some of the names of God. He was so excited!
I also made a special banner with with John 3:16. Above it I hung a set of duplicate scriptures with the scriptures printed on the back. In Deuteronomy 6:7-9 it says, "These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."

Using a burlap ribbon, I hung them on the wall in our kitchen.
